How to prepare Tahchin: Easy home-cooked dinner
Place the amount of rice in water beforehand and let it rest for an hour.
Step 1
For Tahchin, first put the chicken breast in a dish on the heat and add some turmeric and cinnamon and two glasses of water until it is well cooked. Then chop the onion in it until the smell of the chicken is removed.
Step 2
After the chicken juice has completely settled and the chicken is cooked, cut it into small pieces and fry it with some oil in a pan. Add spices including salt, pepper, turmeric and cinnamon to the chicken until the chicken is golden in color. and make them attractive. After the spices are completely mixed with the chicken, we remove it from the heat.
Step 3
Put the pre-soaked rice in a pot of boiling water and add some salt to it. Boil for 10 to 15 minutes until it is half-boiled and drain.
Step 4
Add the egg yolks in a large bowl and mix until they come out of their shape, then add the condensed yogurt along with rose water and infused saffron, and then add the half-boiled rice to this mixture.
Step 5
Roast the washed barberry with powdered sugar in a small amount of oil.
Step 6
We put the pot that we have planned for the bottom on the heat. It is better that the pot is not small so that you can easily put the food back in a container. Then pour some of the rice mixture into it and press it with the back of the spoon so that it sticks together. And then we put some of the cooked barberry and chicken on the rice along with pieces of butter and again add some of the rice mixture and then a layer of meat. We continue this until the end of the ingredients.
Step 7
We put Tahchin on very low heat for 30 minutes to 1 hour until it is well brewed and cooked.
At the end, you can return it in a round container or tray.
