Ingredients

  • 60 g local butter or high-quality unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons yellow corn flour
  • 1 cups warm water or milk

  • Salt optional, to taste

Method

  1. Melt the butter in a non-stick or copper pan over very low heat until fragrant.
  2. Add the corn flour and stir gently for 1-2 minutes to remove the raw taste without browning.
  3. Slowly add warm water or milk while stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
  4. Add the grated cheese and stir continuously until fully melted and stretchy.
  5. Cook on low heat until butter rises to the surface and the mixture becomes glossy.
  6. Serve immediately while hot and stretchy.
