- Step 1:
- Soak chickpeas overnight. Boil until soft. Chop onion and meat, cook in water until tender.
- Step 2:
- Fry onion in oil until golden, add cooked meat and chickpeas, saffron, pistachios, barberry, and spices. Roast for 10 minutes.
- Step 3:
- Soak rice for 3 hours, boil until slightly soft, drain, and layer in pot with chickpeas. Steam on low heat for 1 hour. Serve with salad, pickles, or vegetables.
