Ingredients
  

  • Chickpeas: 300 grams soaked 12-24 hours
  • Onion: 1 medium
  • Garlic: 2 cloves
  • Chopped parsley: 1/2 cup
  • Salt pepper, turmeric: As needed
  • Coriander seed powder: As needed
  • Chickpea flour: 1-2 tbsp if mixture is loose
  • Oil: As needed for frying

Method
 

  1. Step 1:
  2. Mix chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, and spices, then grind them together until smooth.
  3. Step 2:
  4. Knead the mixture well until dough-like. If too loose, add chickpea flour.
  5. Step 3:
  6. Heat oil in a deep pan. Shape dough into small walnut-sized balls and fry until golden and crispy. Place on a napkin to absorb excess oil.

  8. Serve hot with baguette bread, pickles, vegetables, and tomato or mustard sauce.
