Step 1:
In a bowl, mix flour, water, oil, and salt. Knead for about 10 minutes until you get a smooth dough. Cover with a cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Step 2:
Chop onions and fry them in a little oil until golden. Add minced meat, spices, herbs, and tomatoes. Cook for 10 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool.
Step 3:
Divide the rested dough into 15 portions. Roll into small circles. Place filling in the center, then fold into triangular or round shapes.
Step 4:
Frying option: Heat oil and fry until golden brown.
Baking option: Place on a baking tray, brush with egg yolk, sprinkle sesame seeds, and bake at 180C (350F) for 20 minutes.
