Prepare dates and nuts: Chop dates. Soak dry dates in warm milk for a few minutes. Chop almonds and pistachios and lightly roast in ghee.
Fry vermicelli: Heat ghee in a pan and fry vermicelli until golden, stirring constantly.
Add milk: Gradually pour in milk, stirring continuously. Cook on low heat until vermicelli softens and milk thickens (about 8-10 minutes).
Add dates and sugar: Mix in chopped dates and sugar. Simmer 5 minutes to blend flavors.
Add cardamom, saffron, and nuts: Stir in cardamom powder, saffron, and roasted nuts. Let it sit 2-3 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
