Method
- Heat milk in a saucepan. Add corn starch, sugar, and cocoa powder, and mix until smooth.
- Add egg yolk and vanilla. Stir over medium heat until mixture thickens slightly. Add chocolate and stir until melted.
- Add butter and cream, mix well. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Pour into serving cups or a large dish. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
- Before serving, garnish with whipped cream, nuts, or shredded coconut as desired.
