Ingredients
  

  • For the Dough
  • 500 g all-purpose flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • ΒΌ tsp baking powder
  • Oil for frying
  • For the Syrup
  • 2 cups honey
  • Optional 2 tbsp sugar for firmer texture

Method
 

  1. Mix eggs and salt, then gradually add flour to form a firm dough. Rest for 20 minutes.
  2. Roll out dough thickly and cut into thin strips or small pieces.
  3. Fry dough pieces in medium-hot oil until golden and crispy. Drain excess oil.
  4. Warm honey gently over very low heat without boiling.
  5. Mix fried dough with warm honey syrup evenly.
  6. Shape while warm into mounds or molds using damp hands.
  7. Let cool completely before serving.
