Feta Me Meli: Greek Baked Feta with Honey

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g Feta cheese block form
  • 2 sheets Phyllo pastry
  • 3 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 tsp Sesame seeds optional, for topping

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Pastry
  2. Brush the phyllo sheets lightly with olive oil or butter.
  3. Wrap the Feta
  4. Place the feta block in the center of the phyllo and fold it like an envelope to cover the cheese completely.
  5. Bake
  6. Preheat the oven to 180 C. Place the wrapped feta on a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  7. Finish with Honey
  8. Remove from the oven, drizzle generously with honey, and sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.
  9. Serve
  10. Enjoy hot as an appetizer, side dish, or snack.
