Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheep stomach Sirabi, cleaned
  • 2 onions chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp salt pepper, turmeric (mixed)
  • Cinnamon and ginger as needed
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 3 cups water
  • Optional: tomatoes or white beans for flavor

Method
 

  1. Step 1:
  2. Thoroughly clean the sheep stomach and boil once in plain water, then discard the water to remove odor.
  3. Step 2:
  4. In a deep pot, heat 2 tbsp oil. Add chopped onions and garlic, sauté until golden.
  5. Step 3:
  6. Cut Sirabi into small pieces and fry with the onions for about 5 minutes.
  7. Step 4:
  8. Add turmeric, salt, pepper, cinnamon, and ginger. Mix well, then pour in 3 cups of water.
  9. Step 5:
  10. Simmer gently for about 3 hours until the stomach pieces are fully tender.
  11. Step 6 (Optional):
  12. Add tomatoes or white beans during cooking for a richer flavor. Serve hot.
