- Heat oil in a pan, sauté onions until golden. Add garlic, turmeric, salt, and pepper.
- Add minced meat, stir until browned.
- Add chopped tomatoes and tomato paste, cook until softened. Add ½ cup water, cover, and simmer.
- Meanwhile, fry potatoes until golden.
- Serve Vavishka hot with rice or bread, topped with fried potatoes and fresh herbs.
